The James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) is pleased to name the McGill University Office for Science and Society (OSS) (https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/), directed by Dr. Joe Schwarcz, as our most recent award recipient.
The JREF award is given each year to persons or organizations that best represent the spirit of the foundation and the legacy of James “The Amazing” Randi. "Dr. Joe" and his team have been outspoken proponents of science literacy and critics of pseudoscience. We hope this award helps the OSS continue its excellent record of public outreach and science awareness.
