We are EXCITED to bring you creative, new and different ideas to TAM this year. One of these great ideas is Gapminder.

Gapminder, founded in Stockholm by Ola Rosling, Anna Rosling Rönnlund and Hans Rosling in 2005, is a non-profit venture promoting increased use and understanding of statistics and other information about social, economic and environmental development at local, national and global levels.
All three founders will be at TAM this year to speak on the project to fight devastating ignorance with a fact-based worldview that everyone can understand.
Gapminder started the Ignorance Project to investigate what the public know and don’t know about basic global patterns and macro-trends. Surveys are used to ask representative groups of people simple questions about key-aspects of global development. When large knowledge-gaps are found, teaching materials can be developed in those areas.
