Workshop selection from TAM 2013

10/23/2014

Workshops at The Amazing Meeting are 1-2 hour long discussions, Q&A or activity sessions that cover an array of interesting topics and are presented by experienced ladies and gentlemen that you might never see sitting together again. And they may be saying things in a way you've never heard said that way before.

Workshops are paid events at TAM so here is your chance to experience one or more for yourself,  revisit those you recall fondly or ones missed because you were in the concurrent workshop.

Check out these sampling of workshops. More will be posted soon.
  • Supporting Skepticism Around the World
  • Physics, Metaphysics and Fraud
  • Crowdsourcing Skepticism

SWIFT is named after Jonathan Swift, the author of Gulliver's Travels. In the book, Gulliver encounters among other things a floating island inhabited by spaced-out scientists and philosophers who hardly deal with reality. Swift was among the first to launch well-designed critiques against the flummery - political, philosophical, and scientific - of his time, a tradition that we hope to maintain at The James Randi Foundation.
